ART4SALE Auctions are designed with YOU in mind! We keep searches fast and convenient . . . and best of all, BIDDING IS EASY! Once you find the auction item on which to bid, simply click the "Buy It Now" button and follow the instructions. There's NO REGISTRATION necessary. If you're Ready to Buy ~ then place your BID!
HOW DO I SEARCH FOR AUCTION ITEMS?
There are three easy ways to browse Auctions. To simplify your search, use our A-Z Links to Browse Artists Alphabetically from the main Auction Page. You can choose an Art Style from our drop down menu of choices or for a more specific search, try our Art Search which enables you to indicate Artist, Style, Medium, Size and Price.
HOW DO I BID?
ART4SALE Auctions allow you to easily bid on line. ART4SALE is a Secure Server so you can confidently provide personal information. When you find the art you want to own, click the "Buy it Now" button. Complete all fields and submit ~ It's really that easy!
HOW WILL I KNOW IF I'VE WON AN AUCTION?
You will be notified via email once the auction has ended. If you are the high bidder and your bid has reached reserve, your credit card will be processed. If there is a reserve price that has not been met, you will be notified that the auction ended without a winner. Email an Auction Representative or Call 561.630.5050 to find out more about reserve prices.
WHEN WILL MY CREDIT CARD BE CHARGED?
If you are the high bidder and your bid has reached reserve, your credit card will be processed immediately. Therefore, we suggest placing bids only on items that you are prepared to win!
WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?
ART4SALE accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card. You must supply a credit card to bid on an item. If you wish to pay by Money Order, Personal, Business, Cashiers or Bank Check, simply indicate in "Comments Box" on "Buy it Now" form that you will send check if you are the successful high bidder. An Auction Representative will contact you with details at end of auction. Remember to only place bids on items that you are prepared to win!
HOW DOES ART4SALE CHARGE FOR SHIPPING AUCTION ITEMS?
ART4SALE ships via Federal Express insured. On the "Buy it Now" form, input the amount you approve for shipping. Approximate guideline is as follows: Small Framed Art Piece $50-100, Medium Framed Art $125-200, Large Framed Art $225-400. Keep in mind that this amount includes packing, crating, shipping and insurance and prices vary in different parts of the world. Unframed Art typically runs from $30-50 and is shipped professionally rolled in art tube.
WHAT IF I WANT THE FRAMING CHANGED ON THE AUCTION ITEM?
All Auction Art is being sold As-Is, which means any changes to framing are additional. If you prefer to receive art unframed, we will remove it from framing to save you extra shipping charges. If you need assistance with frame changes, our in-house Custom Framing can assist you once you win the item.
HOW CAN I AUCTION MY ART ON YOUR SITE?
If you have art to submit for sale and would like to list it on auction, fill out the form at Sell Your Art and indicate in the comments box that you would like to include the work for sale on ART4SALE Auction. If your art is accepted, we will include the art on auction for two weeks, twice a year, FREE of charge! If you wish to list a collection for a longer period, Email Auction Representative for more information.
HOW DO I DETERMINE THE PRICE FOR AN ITEM I WISH TO SELL AT AUCTION?
If you need to learn the value of your art, click for our Appraisal Service. Once we determine the retail value, an Auction Representative can assist you with the opening and reserve prices. For more information, Email an Auction Representative. Note: We do not give values of art except through our Appraisal Service.
HOW DO I SEND THE ART TO YOU ONCE IT'S SOLD?
Upon receipt of payment from buyer, you will be responsible for shipping art to ART4SALE (SWAHN GALLERIES & DESIGN). Upon satisfactory inspection, artwork is shipped to buyer and payment is made to seller. It's that easy!
